Fulfilling The Great Commission

Just before he ascended to heaven, Jesus gave us this commandment, known as The Great Commission:

“All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore and teach all nations baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:”  (Matthew 28:18-19)

But he didn’t stop there. He went on to add this additional provision:

“Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the  world. Amen.” (Matthew 28:20)

The Apostles did their part. You and I and countless millions of others are the result of their faithfulness to the Lord. Now it’s our turn to help fulfill The Great Commission.
